The Bangladeshi electronics giant Walton brand television has marked a significant rise surpassing the previous year’s record on its export just within the first quarter this year (January to March) than previous year.
“Our TV is getting worldwide recognition due to its latest technology, world-class quality and reasonable prices,” Walton TV’s Chief Executive Officer Mostafa Nahid Hossain was quoted as saying in a press release.
In 2020, Walton recorded 10 times higher export of television compared to the previous year’s television export, he said, adding that 2020’s total TV exports were surpassed by 137 per cent in just the first three months of this year.
This is surely an auspicious sign for the overall economy of the country in this pandemic period, where business is struggling, Nahid said.
Walton Hi-Tech Managing Director Golam Murshed said Walton has been expanding its export business to the markets of the world by supplying the highest standard products at reasonable prices.
