Domestic airlines are offering special discounts on tickets on the occasion of a three-day ‘Dhaka Travel Mart 2024’ which begins Thursday at Grand Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
The Bangladesh Monitor, the country's aviation and tourism fortnightly magazine is organising the fair. Biman Bangladesh Airlines will participate in the fair as the title sponsor.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be offering a 15 per cent special discount on all international route tickets on the occasion of the fair, said a press release on Wednesday.
People will also be enjoying this discount besides the fair while purchasing tickets from any Biman sales counter, call centre 01990997997, website (www.biman-airlines.com) and mobile apps on February 8-10. As per Biman's flight schedule, tickets can be purchased on any date at this discount.
NOVOAIR also offers a 15 per cent discount on tickets for all routes, it said in press release.
The airline announced an attractive holiday package for Cox's Bazar and Kolkata at affordable fare. It includes two nights and three days’ hotel stay, round trip NOVOAIR tickets and other benefits.
NOVOAIR currently operates daily flights from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Jashore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Kolkata in India.
On the other hand, US-Bangla Airlines announced a 15 per cent discount on all domestic routes and a 12 per cent discount on international routes on the occasion of the fair, a press release said, adding that anyone can get additional discounts from US-Bangla Pavilion at the fair. People can collect tickets from the fair and travel on all domestic and international routes till May 15.
Currently, US-Bangla Airlines operates domestic flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Syedpur, Rajshahi and Jashore routes. Besides, they are operating regular flights to Kolkata, Chennai, Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Male and Guangzhou.
