Time not suitable for thinking over next FY budget: Debapriya Bhattacharya

The current economic condition in the country is not suitable for thinking over the next fiscal budget, said the convener of Citizen Platform for implementation of SDG and Special Fellow of the Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya.

He said this at a virtual press conference on Saturday.

The press conference was held on 'Recommendation to the Government to increase the effectiveness of the activities of private development organizations in the face of COVID-19'

Answering to a question on the announcement of the upcoming budget Devpriya said, in such a situation that the country is currently going through the focus should be to keep the virus at bay.
