The global death toll from coronavirus reached 183,336 on Thursday morning, according to the Johns Hopkins University tally.

So far, 2,627,630 cases have been confirmed around the world after disease was first reported in China in December last year.

Of those infected, 1,735,831 are currently being treated and 56,674 of them are in serious or critical condition, says worldometer.

So far, 710,285 people have recovered.

Ten more coronavirus patients died in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till Wednesday, taking the death toll in the country to 120.

Besides, 390 more people tested positive for coronavirus during the period, raising the number of positive cases in the country to 3,772.
