Biman to begin flights to China in May

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has finally received approval from Chinese authorities to operate scheduled flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou route.

Biman has a plan to start its flight operations on this route from May.

The Chinese Civil Aviation Authorities will also give a huge discount for landing, parking and other associated charges to encourage the airline, Biman officials said.

Dhaka-Guangzhou route is considered as a profitable route as many Chinese and Bangladeshis travel this route for business and tourism.

US-Bangla Airlines and China Southern Airlines are currently operating flights on this route.
