The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection reached 3,755,341 all over the world as of Thursday morning, according to the data provided by Johns Hopkins University.
A total of 263,831 deaths were recorded globally due to Covid-19 since the disease, caused by the new strain of coronavirus, was first reported in China in December last year.
Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, 98 percent are in mild condition.

So far, 1,245,413 people have recovered.
In Bangladesh, the number of newly confirmed cases of coronavirus infection reached 790 on Wednesday. With this, a total of 11,719 confirmed cases have been recorded in the country so far.
Besides, three more people died from Covid-19, taking the death toll from the virus to 186.
