Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said there will be no shortage of food even if production in the country's factories is hampered due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He made the remark while addressing a press conference at the secretariat on Thursday.
The minister said the current food reserve of the country could meet the demand for the next four months.
Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling onions at Tk 25 per kg from next Saturday during the ongoing month of Ramadan, he added.
