The deadline for submitting the VAT returns for March and April has been extended due to a public holiday announced by the government to curb the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19.
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended time till June 9 to file VAT returns for March and April without penalty and interest.
Those who failed to file their March and April returns within the stipulated time, can be able to do so by June 9 without penalty and interest.
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Tuesday issued a special order in this regard. The circular was signed by a member of the VAT policy department, Masood Sadiq.
