Stocks witnessed yet another bearish session on Wednesday (June 3), as all indices of the country’s both bourses fell extending the losing streak for the third day.

However, the share and unit prices of most of the companies, participating in the trade, remained unchanged.

The key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) DSEX fell 6 points to 3,963 points. Among other DSE indices, the Shariah index fell by 1 point, the DSE-30 index by 2 points and the CDSET by 1 point to 918 points, 1,328 points and 785 points respectively.

Shares and units of Tk 152.63 crore were traded at the DSE on Wednesday – down by Tk 2.61 crore from Tk 155.24 crore just a day ago.

Of the 311 issues traded, 16 gained, 43 fell while 252 remained unchanged.

On the other hand, all indices of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also declined. The key index of CSE, CASPI fell 30 points to 11,231 points.

Shares and units of merely Tk3.60 crore were traded at the CSE.

Among the 127 issues traded during the day, 14 gained, 32 declined and 81 remained unchanged.
