CSE Shariah Index, which is reviewed twice in a year, has been revised on the basis of the performance of the CSE (Chittagong Stock Exchange) listed companies on Tuesday. The new index will be effective from 28 June 2020, said in a press release.
The new 15 companies which have been inducted are ACI Formulations Limited, ADN Telecom Limited, Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited, Coppertech Industries Ltd., GQ Ball Pen Industries Limited, JMI Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd., Khulna Printing & Packaging Limited, Oimex Electrode Limited, Rangpur Foundry Ltd., Ring Shine Textiles Ltd., Runner Automobiles Limited, S.S.Steel Limited, Saiham Cotton Mills Ltd., Silco Pharmaceuticals Limited & Summit Alliance Port Limited.
On the other hand, nine companies i.e. Dhaka Electric Supply Co. Ltd., National Tea Company Limited, BDCOM Online Limited, Sinobangla Industries Limited, Square Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bangladesh Submarine Cable Co. Ltd., R. N. Spinning Mills Limited, Square Textiles Limited & Shasha Denims Limited. were excluded from the previous list.
