Trading at both the Stock exchanges, DSE and CSE, ended slightly higher on Thursday (June 25). All indices and the amount of money transacted increased today than that of the previous working day.

However, the share and unit prices of most of the companies participating in the transactions remained unchanged, said sources in the DSE and the CSE.

On Wednesday, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange DSEX went up by 4 points to 3,969 points. Among other DSE indices, the Shariah Index rose up by 0.93 point, the DSE-30 Index by 2.98 points and the CDSET by 1 point to 919 points, 1,330 points and 786 points respectively.

Shares and units of Tk 68.35 crore were traded on the DSE on Wednesday – up by Tk 14.22 crore from Tk 54.13 crore just one working day ago. Of the 265 issues traded, 29 gained, 16 fell while 220 remained unchanged.

On the other hand, the key index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CASPI went up by 6 points to 11,262 points on Wednesday. Shares and units worth of Tk 93.64 crore were traded at the CSE.

Among the 111 issues traded during the day, 20 gained, 12 declined and 79 remained unchanged.
