Stock markets to remain shut on Wednesday

Both the stock markets of the country will remain closed on Wednesday (July 1) due to the bank holiday.

Sources in the Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges confirmed the matter on Tuesday (June 30).

It is learned that all the banks in the country will be closed on Wednesday due to the bank holiday, and as the operations of the stock markets are deeply linked to the banks' functioning, share market transactions with banks will also remain closed.

However, the official work of the DSE and the CSE will continue as usual.
