Italy imposes 3-month entry ban on Bangladeshis

Italy has imposed a 3-month ban on Bangladeshis to enter the country over fake coronavirus negative reports.

According to an Italian Ministry of Health Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), citizens of Bangladesh will not be able to enter Italy until October 5.

Moreover, no airline will be allowed to bring Bangladeshi passengers due to high risk of further coronavirus spread. Even transit flights bringing Bangladeshis will be not be allowed to enter Italy.

Earlier on Wednesday (July 10), Italy refused 125 passengers to disembark from a Qatar Airways flight at Rome airport.

Italy has sent letters in this regard to various foreign airlines and travel agencies.
