Stocks pass mixed day

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw a slight fall in the index on Monday (July 13). However, the amount of transaction increased on Monday from the previous working day.

On the other hand, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw a slight jump in index with loss of transaction.

On Monday, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) DSEX decreased by 10 points. Among other DSE indices, the Shariah Index decreased by 4 points and the DSE-30 Index fell by 8 points.

Shares and units of Tk377.95 crore were traded at the DSE on Monday. Of the 348 issues traded, 57 gained, 127 fell while 164 remained unchanged.

On the other hand, the key index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CASPI increased by 6 points to 11,606 points on Monday. Shares and units worth of Tk13.15 crore were traded at the CSE.

Among the 201 issues traded during the day, 43 gained, 66 declined and 92 remained unchanged.
