Trading time extended by 30 minutes

Both the stock exchanges – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) have extended the trading time by 30 minutes to be effective from August 9 (Sunday).

Trading at the bourses will begin at 10:00am and continue until 2:30pm instead of 10:30pm to 2:30pm. The new schedule will be continued until further notice.

The DSE management took this decision on demand of stock market stakeholders, stockbrokers and investors as the market remained closed for 66 days from March 26 to May 30 due to Covid-19 pandemic, said the press release.
