Covid-19: Global deaths reach 747,845

The global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 747,845 as of Thursday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 20,532,835 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.Among the currently 6,354,364 infected patients 6,289,756 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 64,608 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 12,743,275 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 42 patients died from Covid-19 in the country over the last 24 hours as of Wednesday, taking the death toll to 3,513.

Besides, 2,995 more people tested positive for the virus, which makes 2,66,498 confirmed cases in total.
