Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has fined two brokerage houses of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) 7 lakh taka for violating securities law.
The decision was taken at the 736th meeting of the BSEC on Thursday. There are two securities companies: D. N. Securities Limited and FirstLead Securities Limited, according to a press release.
D.N. Securities Company's customers are not provided with confirmation notes for trade execution among other irregularities. For violating securities law, the commission has decided to fine the D. N. securities 5 lakh taka.
On the other hand, FirstLead Securities was fined 2 lakh taka for irregularities in its part.
