Tk 216cr turnover at DSE block market during the week

The block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has witnessed participation of 89 companies in the outgoing week. Shares and units of these companies worth 216 crore taka have been traded. This information has been known from DSE sources.

It is learned that 5 crore 30 lakh 57 thousand 50 shares of 89 companies have been exchanged 348 times during the week. Through this, the shares and units of the companies worth 216 crore 42 lakh 37 thousand taka have been traded.

Beximco Pharma has the highest turnover of Tk 64.98 crore during the week. BRAC Bank had the second highest turnover of 17 crore 9 lakh 35 thousand taka and Genex Infosys had the third highest turnover of 9 crore 94 lakh 45 thousand taka.

Other companies include Citibank 3 crore 94 lakh 43 thousand taka, Eastland Insurance 2 crore 87 lakh 84 thousand taka, Fine Foods 2 crore 4 lakh 49 thousand taka, IFIC Bank 9 crore 49 lakh 34 thousand taka, Jamuna Oil 6 crore 28 lakh 20 thousand taka, Lafarge Holcim 5 crore 19 lakh 72 thousand taka, ML Dyeing 4 crore 66 lakh 80 thousand taka, Renata 3 crore 47 lakh 10 thousand taka have been transacted.

Besides, Sea Pearl's 7 crore 86 lakh 60 thousand taka, Southeast Bank's 3 crore 20 lakh taka, Square Pharma's 2 crore 69 lakh 19 thousand taka, United Power's 5 crore 80 lakh 26 thousand taka, Baraka Power's 6 crore 54 lakh 21 thousand taka, British American Tobacco worth 7 crore 65 lakh 8 thousand taka, Grameenphone worth 8 crore 36 lakh 17 thousand taka and Trust Bank worth 2.95 crore were taka traded.
