Covid-19: Global deaths reach 807,383

The global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 807,383 as of Monday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 23,349,139 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 6,690,530 infected patients 6,629,017 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 61,513 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 15,061,155 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 34 patients died from Covid-19 in the country over the last 24 hours as of Sunday.

Besides, 1,973 more people tested positive for the virus, which makes 294,598 confirmed cases in total.
