Covid-19: Global deaths reach 811,748

The global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 811,748 as of Tuesday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 23,571,084 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 6,633,563 infected patients 6,571,847 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 61,716 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 15,256,453 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 42 patients died from Covid-19 in the country over the last 24 hours as of Monday.

Besides, 2,485 more people tested positive for the virus, which makes 297,083 confirmed cases in total.
