DSE block market turnover hits Tk 28cr

Shares of twenty three companies worth 28 crore taka were traded at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) block market on Wednesday (August 26). 

56 lakh 53 thousand 758 shares of these companies have been exchanged 54 times during the week. Through this, shares and units of the companies worth 28 crore 52 lakh 8 thousand taka have been traded.

Beacon Pharma had the highest turnover of 17 crore 2 lakh taka. Baraka Power had the second-highest turnover of 3 crore 20 lakh taka and Citi Bank had the third-highest turnover of 1 crore 85 lakh 61 thousand taka.

Other companies include Fine Foods with 1 crore 65 lakh 20 thousand taka, Genex 60 lakh 50 thousand taka, ML Dyeing 80 lakh 55 thousand taka, Orion Infusion 13 lakh 60 thousand taka, Orion Pharma 16 lakh 86 thousand taka, Sea Pearl 72 lakh 57 thousand taka.

Besides, SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund's 32 lakh taka, Square Pharma's 43 lakh 20 thousand taka and Uttara Bank's 29 lakh 16 thousand taka worth shares and units have been traded.
