DSE block market transaction reaches Tk 52cr

Shares of 28 companies worth 52 crore taka were traded at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) block market on Thursday (August 27). 

1 crore 20 lakh 60 thousand 859 shares of these companies have been exchanged 60 times during the week. Through this, shares and units of the companies worth 51 crore 98 lakh 78 thousand taka have been traded.

Beximco Pharma had the highest turnover of 19 crore 36 lakh 80 thousand taka. Southeast Bank had the second-highest turnover of 9 crore 68 lakh 48 thousand taka and Grameenphone had the third-highest turnover of 5 crore 95 lakh 13 thousand taka.

Other companies include Square Pharma with 5 crore 71 lakh 73 thousand taka, Singer 34 lakh 20 thousand taka, Pioneer Insurance 1 crore 83 lakh 91 thousand taka, Orion Pharma 29 lakh 30 thousand taka and National Tea 70 lakh 93 thousand taka.

Besides, NCC Bank's 27 lakh 80 thousand taka, ML Dyeing's 96 lakh 6 thousand taka, Eastland Insurance's 52 lakh 56 thousand taka, Baraka Power's 3 crore 31 lakh 17 thousand taka and Agrani Insurance's 57 lakh 99 thousand taka worth shares and units were traded.
