Covid-19: Global deaths reach 829,861

Global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 829,861 as of Friday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 24,356,619 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition. Among the currently 6,695,726 infected patients 6,634,315 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 61,411 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 15,921,719 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 45 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 4,127.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 304,583 as 2,436 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours
