12 companies return to categories 'A' and 'B' from 'Z'

12 companies return to categories 'A' and 'B' from 'Z'

A total of 12 listed companies have returned from the category 'Z' to their respective 'A' and 'B' previous categories in the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

The change of categorisation is effective from today (Wednesday).

The newly-reinstated companies to the category 'A' are -- AB Bank, Fu Wang Ceramic, Prime Insurance, Renwick Jajneswar, Heidelberg Cement and LibraI Infusion and the companies reinstated to the category 'B' are -- BD Thai, Appollo Ispat, Safco Spinning, Zaheen Tex, Khan Brothers PP Woven and Salvo Chemical.

As per BSEC Directive No. SEC/CMRRCD/2009-193/177 and BSEC Order No. SEC/CMRRCD/2009-193/178 issued on October 27, 2015, the investors will not get any margin loan facilities to buy shares of those companies, in between 1st to 30th trading day after the change of categorisation.
