Restriction on name, logo usage of BSEC, DSE, CSE in social media

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has asked all individuals and groups to refrain from using logos of the BSEC, Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange on any platform including social media.

Otherwise legal action in the interest of investors under the Securities Act and the Digital Security Act will be taken in this regard.

BSEC has also asked general people to refrain from disseminating or sharing sensitive information through social media regarding stock prices or market rise and fall.

This was stated in a directive signed by BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam on Wednesday.
