Tk444cr transacted in block market in last week

During the outgoing week, 66 companies traded shares worth Tk 444 crore in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) block market according to DSE sources.

It is learnt that 5 crore 34 lakh 49 thousand 830 shares of the companies have been exchanged 236 times during the week trading Tk 444 crore 26 lakh 34 thousand.

Among the companies, Beximco Pharma made the highest turnover of Tk 359.84 crore. Square Pharma made the second highest turnover of Tk 13.84 crore while Renata was in the third position with a turnover of Tk 9.23 crore.

Turnover of other companies include Mutual Trust Bank Tk 7 crore 87 lakh 43 thousand, Sandhani Insurance Tk 4 crore 87 lakh 70 thousand, Sea Pearl Tk 1 crore 2 lakh 65 thousand, Paramount Textile Tk 2 crore 60 lakh 49 thousand, Orion Pharma Tk 4 crore 84 lakh 45 thousand, ML Dyeing Tk 1 crore 72 lakh 16 thousand, Daffodil Computers Tk 1 crore 45 lakh 37 , BRAC Bank Tk 3 crore 56 lakh 95 thousand, Baraka Power Tk 4 crore 89 lakh 28 thousand, Beacon Pharma Tk 1 crore 60 lakh, Singer Tk 4 crore 14 lakh 10 thousand, Southeast Bank Tk 5 crore 54 lakh 84 thousand, Grameenphone Tk 1 crore 74 lakh 15 thousand, United Commercial Bank Tk 3 crore 37 lakh 50 thousand, ACI Tk 1 crore 9 lakh 57 thousand and APSCL bonds Tk 1 crore 2 lakh.
