The global death toll from the novel coronavirus infection reached 908,257 as of Friday morning, according to the data by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 28,054,276 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

In Bangladesh, 41 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Thursday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 4,634.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 332,970 as 1,892 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
