State-run company Meghna Petroleum Ltd has signed an agreement with JMI Industrial Gas Ltd aiming for business expansion by selling LPG (autogas).
The information was confirmed on the website of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Sunday.
As per the agreement, Meghna Petroleum will sale LPG of JMI Industrial Gas Ltd by establishing LPG refuelling station and liquefied petroleum gas conversion workshop parallel with the sale of refuelling oil through registered filling stations.
Meghna Petroleum will receive a royalty of 0.50 taka against per litre sale of LPG.
The state-run company recently signed a similar agreement with Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, Beximco LPG Unit, Omera Gas One Ltd and Unitex Lp Gas Ltd to expand the business.
