Ring Shine Textiles Ltd has declared layoff of its factory for one month, from Sept 26 to October 25, due to the worldwide impact of prevailing Covid 19 pandemic.
The information was confirmed on the website of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
Declining orders from foreign buyers and shortage of imported raw materials have led to the layoff, said the company.
The company has declared the layoff as per section 11 of Bangladesh EPZ Labour Law-2019.
