Global Covid-19 cases exceed 35mn

Global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,036,104 as of Monday morning, according to the data provided by the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 35,078,236 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 7,735,381 infected patients 7,668,872 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 66,509 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 24,414,627 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 23 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Sunday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,348.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 368,690 as 1,125 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
