BD Finance's profit increases by 628pc

Bangladesh Finance & Investment Company Ltd’s earnings per share (EPS) has increased by 628 per cent in the first nine months of this year (Jan-Sept 2020).

Sources from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) confirmed the information to The Business Post.

The company's consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for those 9 months was 1.02 taka. At the same time last year, the EPS was 0.14 taka. As a result, the company's profit has increased by 0.88 taka or 628 per cent.

Meanwhile, in the three months from July to September, the earnings per share (EPS) was 0.55 taka. At the same time last year, the loss per share was 0.09 taka.

As of September 30, 2020, the company's consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at 17.39 taka.
