Snowhite brings new spin in laundry service

The advent of coronavirus pandemic in the country changed the way many do business. Even an essential chore like washing clothes or taking clothes to the laundry needed to be rethought. Like many others, Snowhite Laundry Service also looked online to provide seamless service to its customers amid the pandemic. But, Snowhite added a new layer to the concept by adding a pickup service. That means, Snowhite’s men will make two journeys for its customers – picking up dirty clothes and dropping off clean clothes.

Snowhite Laundry Service first opened its service in October 2019 as a traditional laundry service. But when the pandemic hit the country, situation demanded the company keep its services running and maintain social distancing. Therefore, Snowhite added pick up and drop off service for their customers, which is completely contactless and free of charge.

Snowhite provides baskets for its customers to pile with dirty clothes. Once customers feel the clothes in the basket need to go for a wash, they can just give a call at Snowhite’s hotline number. Snowhite’s men then pick up the basket from customers’ doorstep and take for wash. Once the clothes are washed and ironed, the basket with the clothes are left on the doorstep. This whole process is contactless.

Snowhite Laundry Service currently has two outlets, in Mirprur 15 and Mohammadpur in Dhaka. One more outlet is going to open soon in Uttara. Fifteen more outlets across the capital are on the pipeline.
