British American Tobacco declares 300pc interim cash dividend

The board of directors of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Ltd (BATBC) has declared 300 per cent interim cash dividend for the year ending on December 31, 2020, based on 9 months’ financials for the period ended on September 30, 2020.

Record date for entitlement of the interim cash dividend is November 11.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) confirmed the information on its website Thursday.

There will be no price limit on the trading of the shares of the company today following its corporate declaration. However, as per a Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) order issued on March 19, 2020, the floor price will be applicable accordingly.
