Global Covid-19 deaths reach 1,165,455

The global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,165,455 as of Wednesday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 43,895,968 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 10,620,603 infected patients 10,540,716 are in mild condition, which is 99 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 79,887 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only one.

So far, 29,727,057 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 20 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 5,838.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 4,01,586 as 1,335 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
