Shares worth Tk 26cr traded on DSE block market on Thursday

Shares of 28 companies were traded on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) block market On Thursday, according to information from DSE sources.

60 lakh 4 thousand 891 shares were exchanged 60 times amounting to the transaction worth Taka 25 crore 84 lakh 49 thousand.

Among the companies, Grameenphone had the highest turnover of Taka 7 crore 92 lakh. Jamuna Bank had the second highest turnover of Taka 5 crore 37 lakh and Eastern Insurance had the third highest of Taka 3 crore 56 lakh 55 thousand.

Besides, United Power's Taka 1 crore 37 lakh 75 thousand, SS Steel's Taka 1 crore 2 lakh 30 thousand, Square Pharma's Taka 1 crore 1 lakh 20 thousand, Paramount Textile's Taka 31 lakh 43 thousand, Pioneer Insurance's Taka 26 lakh 70 thousand, Paramount Insurance's Taka 32 lakh 7 thousand, Nitol Insurance’s Taka 37 lakh 20 thousand, Munnu Ceramic’s Taka 28 lakh 4 thousand, ML Dyeing's Taka 52 lakh 23 thousand, Lankabangla Finance's Taka 23 lakh 31 thousand, IFIC's Taka 14 lakh 28 thousand, Fu-Wang Food's Taka 13 lakh 90 thousand, DBH's Taka 50 lakh 8 thousand, CAPM IBBL Mutual Fund's Taka 98 lakh 16 thousand, Beximco Pharma’s Taka 31 lakh 28 thousand and British American Tobacco’s Taka 51 lakh 95 thousand worth shares were traded on Thursday.
