Biden plans for office as Trump contests result

Biden advisers are discussing who can fill key posts after the Democrat pledged the most diverse cabinet in history. On the other hand, Trump is yet to concede and continues to allege about massive ‘voter fraud.’

On Monday, the president-elect will name a group of scientists and experts to develop a blueprint for tackling Covid-19.

In his first speech as US president-elect, Biden vowed "not to divide but unify" the country.

Moreover, world leaders congratulated Joe Biden on his win. However, some major powers, such as Russia and China, are yet to respond.

But  Donald Trump has sent another flurry of tweets on Monday.

He again sought to sow doubt about the integrity of the election, reiterating unsubstantiated allegations of widespread voter fraud and a "stolen election".

In tweets that appeared to quote former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Trump wrote that "we should look at these allegations" of "voter fraud".

Trump is mounting legal challenges against election results in some states, but is yet to produce any credible evidence of large-scale voter fraud.
