Siddiqur and Mohiuddin made new directors of CSE

Md Siddiqur Rahman, managing director of SR Capital Limited and Mohammad Mohiuddin (FCMA), managing director of Island Securities Limited have been elected as two new directors of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) by the votes of shareholders.

This information was revealed in a press release by the CSE.

On Thursday (November 12), the 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CSE approved a 5% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2019-20. CSE Chairman Asif Ibrahim presided over the AGM held at the CSE head office in Chittagong. The annual general meeting has been conducted this time through a digital platform as per the instructions of BSEC Order, dated 11 June 2020.

CSE Director Prof SM Salamat Ullah Bhuiyan, MA Malek, S. M. Abu Tayab, Sohail Mohammad Shakur, Md Liaquat Hossain Chowdhury, Barrister Anita Gazi Islam, Mirza Salman Ispahani, Major (Retd) Emdadul Islam, Shahjada Mahmud Chowdhury, Mohammad Sayedur Rahman, Managing Director Mamun-ur-Rashid and Company Secretary Rajiv Saha were present at the AGM.
