FID asks nine GMs to take new postings

The Financial Institutions Division (FID) issued an office order instructing nine General Managers (GM) of state-owned banks and financial institutions to take their postings where they were transferred around one year ago.

On December 9 2019, FID issued transfer order to nine GMs of state-owned banks and financial institutions. However, the order has not been carried out in the last one year as the officers transferred are yet to take their new postings.

In this situation, GMs named in the previous notification were requested to join their new workplaces immediately.

General Managers of Janata Bank Masfiul Bari and Md Habibur Rahman Gazi were transferred as GMs of Bangladesh Krishi Bank. Besides, GM of Janata Bank Mahbubur Rahman was transferred to Prabasi Kalyan Bank.  General Managers of Rupali Bank A. Rahim, Md. Shawkat Ali Khan and Md. Golam Mortuza were transferred to Bangladesh Krishi Bank. At the same time, General Manager of Rupali Bank Kazi Abdur Rahman was transferred to Karmasangsthan Bank. In addition, GM of Bangladesh Development Bank Kamil Burhan Firdaus and GM of Agrani Bank Monirul Islam were transferred to Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank and Ansar-VDP Development Bank respectively.
