NBR not to extend time for tax return submission after Nov 30

The National Board of Revenue has decided not to extend the scheduled deadline for submission of income tax returns without any fine and interest.

The decision goes for both the individual taxpayers and for the companies.

NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem made the disclosure at a press briefing on Sunday.

The last date for filing income tax returns thus remains November 30.
