Cheque fraud case: Wonderland Housing MD in jail, wife at large

Wonderland Housing Ltd’s Managing Director Md Fahad Hossain was sent to jail in a case filed by AB Bank Ltd over cheque fraudulence worth 90,234,767 taka.

Fahad Hossain was arrested on November 10 in the case and was sent to jail on the same day.

Fahad’s wife Razia Hossain, another accused in the case, is on the run from police. She has reportedly fled the country.

The case was filed with Kafrul Police Station in Dhaka under the Money Loan Court Act, accusing the couple of providing fake deed and cheque to take a loan from AB Bank.
