10 rockets slam in Aghan Kabul, 1 killed

Ten rockets fired by militants slammed in the Afghan capital Kabul, claimed at least one life on Saturday, Interior Ministry spokesman Tareq Arian said.

"The rockets fired from a car in Lab-e-Jar area today morning hit residential areas in PD 9 and PD 15, killing one civilian and injuring two others," Arian told Xinhua.

Without providing more details, the official said that investigation had been initiated into the incident.

This is the second rocket attack in Kabul, also fired from a vehicle, over the past one month. In the previous attack nearly one month ago, three civilians were killed and over a dozen others injured.
