6 lakh Karnaphuli Gas consumers can now pay bill through bKash

About 6 lakh households consumers of Karnaphuli Gas Distribution Company in Chattogram and 11 nearby areas can now pay their gas bill using bKash app.
 
Consumers from Chattogram city, Sitakunda, Mirsarai, Hathazari, Raozan, Rangonia, Patiya, Boalkhali, Anowara, Fatikchhari, Kaptai and KPM area of Rangamati Hill Tracts will get the opportunity to avail uninterrupted gas service through this bill payment option.
 
To pay the bill, customers will have to select "Gas" from the "Pay Bill" icon of the bKash app.
 
Then they will have to select Karnaphuli Gas and the current month; enter customer code, mobile number and bKash PIN to complete the bill payment process.
 
This service can also be availed through bKash mobile menu by dialling *247#. And 1% service charge, not more than Tk30, will be added to the bill.
 
After paying the bill, customers can get digital receipts which they can save as reference for the future.
 
Customers of Titas, Jalalabad, Sundarban and Paschimanchal Gas can also pay bills through bKash, reads a press release.
