Global coronavirus death toll reaches 1,787,283

Global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 1,787,283 as of Wednesday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 81,925,749 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 22,197,460 infected patients 22,091,524 are in mild condition, which is 99.5 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 105,936 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only 0.5.

So far, 46,278,657 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 30 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Monday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 7,509.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 5,11,261 as 1,181 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
