BB lists lead banks to oversee distribution of incentive package in CMSME sector

Bangladesh Bank has issued a circular releasing a list of lead banks to oversee implementations of the incentive packages for cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSME).

According to the circular, the lead banks should ensure that entrepreneurs who suffered because of the pandemic get loans from the packages without any hassle.

The banks will also have identify loan recipients, disburse funds, monitor the recovery of the loans and address problems in the process.
