World coronavirus death toll reaches 2,265,935

Global deaths from the novel coronavirus infection reached 2,265,935 as of Thursday morning, according to the Centre for System Science and Engineering of Johns Hopkins University.

Moreover, 104,340,939 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed around the world.

Although cases of new infection keep growing among the infected world population currently, most of them are in mild condition.

Among the currently 25,853,085 infected patients 25,890,554 are in mild condition, which is 99.6 per cent, Worldometer records in its daily updates.

On the other hand, 106,556 of the currently infected patients are in serious condition, and their percentage is only 0.4.

So far, 57,939,599 people have recovered.

In Bangladesh, 13 more Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours as of Wednesday, increasing the death toll from the pandemic to 8,162.

Besides, the tally of infections has surged to 536,545 as 438 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
