Cumilla secures top position in online VAT return

Cumilla secured top place in online VAT return for eight consecutive times among eight Customs Excise & Vat Commissionerate, the Commissionerate said in a press release on Sunday.

Expressing his feelings over the matter, Assistant Commissioner of Customs Excise & Vat Commissionerate, Cumilla, Shalauddin Ripon, said, “Cumilla stood first in online VAT return. It’s a matter of pride for us. This is a result of teamwork.”

In March, Cumilla received 95. 47 per cent in online while the overall percentage of manual and online return is 95.60 per cent, said the press release.
