Domestic flights to remain suspended during lockdown

All domestic passenger flights will remain suspended during the nationwide strict lockdown starting from July 1 to July 7. 

The Flight Standard and Regulations Division of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) issued a circular in this regard on Thursday.

Flights involved with medical evacuation, humanitarian and relief activities along with cargo flights would remain out of the purview of the suspension. 

Standard disinfection, sanitisation, and physical distancing for passengers, crew, equipment, and aircraft (inflight or ground) should be strictly maintained for such flights, the notice added.
