Pakistan’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 8.4 per cent in July compared with a year earlier, easing from June, the statistics bureau said on Monday.
July is the first month of the country’s new financial year 2021-22.”CPI inflation General, increased by 8.4 per cent on year-on-year basis in July 2021 as compared to an increase of 9.7 per cent in the previous month and 9.3 per cent in July 2020,” the bureau said recently.
