Nagad offers 50% discount on Chorki subscription

Nagad, the mobile financial service of Bangladesh Post Office, announced the launching of an exclusive 50 per cent discount for the subscription of over-the-top (OTT) platform Chorki at an event in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The offer which will run until January 6, 2022, was launched to mark the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence, Nagad announced via a press release on Wednesday.

Nagad Executive Director Niaz Morshed Elite announced the discount during the release of the trailer of the original "Jago Bahe" web series, presented by Nagad, at a hotel in the capital.

Speaking at the programme, Niaz Morshed Elite said "Like Nagad, Chorki is also a local company. It feels good to be able to be associated with such an initiative."

In order to enjoy the 50 percent discount through Nagad, viewers will have to choose subscription package for one month, six months or a year.

Redoan Rony, chief operating officer of Chorki, production staff of "Jago Bahe", artists of the series and crew members were present at the event, the press release added.
