Bangladesh Finance has shifted its Chattogram branch to the new location at Aziz Court (19th Floor) in the city’s Agrabad area.
Chairman of the company Manwar Hossain, also the chief guest, along with his mother Bibi Amena formally inaugurated the relocated branch at a ceremony held at the Chattogram Club on Tuesday, said a press release.
While addressing the event, Manwar Hossain said, “Bangladesh Finance has been committed to provide the best and innovative financial services to meet the needs of the customers in a prompt and secured way.”
Wishing the company’s success in its endeavors, he said, “Bangladesh Finance will set the example at home and abroad by providing superior and modern financial services to its clients.”
In his speech, Managing Director and CEO Md Kyser Hamid pledged to take Bangladesh Finance forward.
He said the relocation will help the people of the area to enjoy the latest and online financial solutions at their convenience.
He also hoped the size of the balance sheet of the company will be more than Tk 7,500 crore over the next three years, read the release.
Chattogram-4 MP Didarul Alam, Bangladesh Finance Vice-Chairman Iqbal U Ahmed, Director Md Rokonuzzaman, and Anwar Group Textile Managing Director Hossain Mehmood graced the occasion as special guests.
Bangladesh Finance directors Yousuf Aman and Furkaan Muhammad N Hossain, BD Securities Managing Director and CEO AHM Nazmul Hasan and Director Forkan Ahmed Moon, BD Capital Managing Director and CEO Barun Prasad Paul, and Bangladesh Finance Branch Manager Abdullah al Mamun were also present in the occasion.
Leading businesspersons, civil society members, government and non-government officials, executives of banks and non-bank financial institutions, clients and local elites along with other high officials of the company attended the programme.
